Gary Dowdy is an award-winning technology executive with experience in innovation, e-Business/mobile, digital marketing, software development, systems integration, business development and strategic planning from start-ups to Fortune 20.

As Head of Innovation and Disruptive Technology at J.B. Hunt, Mr. Dowdy is responsible for systems and partnerships to advance the company’s digital prowess and transformation to a technology driven provider of innovative supply chain solutions.

Gary has a strong entrepreneurial track record. From 1988 to 1997, he was co-founder and president of two technology companies specializing in the automation of distribution centers and creation of software development products. In 1993, he received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, presented by the United States Small Business Administration. From 1998 to 2008, Gary held numerous technology, e-commerce and marketing roles at the executive level at Cardinal Health (Fortune 19) in Chicago, Illinois and Columbus, Ohio. Since 2008, Mr. Dowdy has been a consultant and executive at four startup companies, one of which recently sold for $187 million.

Mr. Dowdy teaches an Internet MBA course at the University of Arkansas, Walton College of Business. He serves on the boards of the Arkansas Academy of Computing, Mid-America Science Museum and Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and Arts. Gary also serves on the Governor Hutchinson’s Task Force for the Computer Science Initiative and is a member of the Arkansas Executive Forum.

He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from the Krannert School of Business at Purdue University.

Sally Miller is the Chief Information Officer, North America for DHL Supply Chain.  Sally reports to Markus Voss, Global CIO for DSC and dotted line to Scott Sureddin, CEO of DSC North America.

Sally was appointed to this role in August, 2014 and is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology in support of the business strategy.  Sally began her career at Exel in 2005 as IT leader for the Retail business unit.    

Previously, Sally worked for APL Logistics and Thomson Multimedia in IT deploying and supporting supply chain management solutions.

Sally is a graduate of Indiana University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Decision Sciences and Operations and Systems Management. Sally received her MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Stephan Brady has 29 years of experience as a Logistics and Supply Chain professional, researcher, and educator. Dr Brady is a recognized thought-leader in the areas of business processes, supply chain, technology space, and driving innovation in multiple arenas. Dr Brady has worked in the past two years with over 100 small and medium retailers and manufacturers. In addition, he has consulted for a diverse range of industry leaders including Boeing, Lockheed, Macy’s, Walmart, HP, Tyco, Avery-Dennison, JC Penney, the US Air Force and the US Army. His consulting work includes small business process flow assessments, retail and manufacturing profit and loss evaluations, collaborative supply chain management, supply chain technologies/RFID strategies, inventory control and management, and warehouse and transportation network design. Dr Brady has also provided consulting services on such topics as outcome focused performance, performance based acquisitions, and space logistics and interplanetary supply chain management.

He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration—Business Logistics from The Pennsylvania State University. He has served on the faculty at Penn State University, as well as the faculties of AFIT – The Air Force’s graduate school and Wright State University. He has guest lectured at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has had several publications appearing in the Transportation Journal, Journal of Transportation Management, and The Air Force Journal of Logistics. In addition, he is a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL).

He speaks nationwide on process and technology innovations in supply chains.

He is also a founding partner with Industrial Cyber Security Analysis, LLC, a company providing hardware and software testing as well as on site security assessments.
