From the central train station Venlo is De Maaspoort easily accessible by foot. Approximately a 10 min walk
- Head northwest on the train station
- Take the 3rd exit on the roundabout to Keulsepoort
- Go straight on the Parade
- Follow the road and go to the left to Klaasstraat
- Turn right to the Vleesstraat
- Turn left on the Market to the Oude Markt
- You will see De Maaspoort on your right
- When does the conference start and finish?
16th October: Pre-conference Day - General registration will open at 12:30pm and the pre-conference workshops will start at 1:00pm followed by the opening/welcome keynote by Heineken at 5:00pm
The welcome drinks reception will begin at 5:45pm
17th October : Day 1 – Registration opens at 7:30am with the opening keynote at 8:00am
The day will end with a drinks reception at 6:00pm in the exhibition hall
18th October: Day 2 – Registration opens at 7:00am with the opening keynote at 8:00am
The day is scheduled to finish at 3:45pm. The closing keynotes are great so you should plan to stay through the end.
- When should I plan to arrive?
If you are flying into Venlo, it is advisable to come in on the October 16th so that you are well-rested and can attend all sessions that begin early on the afternoon of October 16th. Also, it’s a great chance to come meet the team, pick up your badge to beat the ques on the morning of the 17th and take part in our evening keynote from Heineken. If you are a local, it depends on your personal preference (and ability to wake up early!).
- What do I need to bring to the venue for registration?
Just your business card!
- Do I get discounted rates for booking a room at the venue?
Yes, we have secured limited number of discounted rooms at the venue. You will be given the link to this as soon as you register.
- Will there be any networking time at the conference?
Yes, lots of it! At the start of the conference (16th October) there is a welcome drinks reception being held in the expo hall from 5:45pm.
At the end of Day 1, there will be a 2 hr long networking drinks reception from 6pm onwards for you to continue those important conversations.
On both days, there will be two coffee breaks between sessions and an hour-long networking Lunch. Mingling with all delegates and speakers is highly encouraged!
- Will there be any kind of e-networker or networking tool to reach out to participants in advance of the conference?
Yes, when you register for a Standard or Executive pass, you gain access to an e-networker to message attendees and speakers. Access is given 1 week prior to the event.
- Will I get recordings and slides from the conference?
Yes, when you register for a Standard or Executive Pass, you receive all presentation slides (approved by the speakers).
- What is the dress code?
Business casual. We want you to be comfortable!
